LITTLE DRAGONS

Ages 4-5

Thursday 4:45-5:15PM

We only take 6 kids in this class. While the kids learn punches, kicks, & techniques the focus here is more about having fun and learning self control, focus,  how to follow directions, & work together.  At this level it is less about the art itself and more about having an instructor teaching your kids a foundation of skills which prepares them to move forward.

ADULTS

Tuesday & Thrusday 7:30-8:30PM

Learning self defense is a great way for adults to make friends, build self confidence and get fit too!  CODA takes the self defense side of Kenpo seriously.  Adults learn self awareness, situational awareness,  how to deescalate a situation which are all key components to keeping yourself and your loved ones safe! Pictured on the right of this: Adults will have class time to work out their techniques in street clothes.  They come dressed for the season and work through techniques outside the studio for a more realistic approach.

KARATE KIDS

Ages 6-8

Thursday 5:30-6:30PM

The maximum for this class is 8 students.  Since the attention span is longer with this age we have an hour long class.  Students learn self defense techniques & do teamwork drills together.  They learn more about the art of Kenpo.  The foundation continues with learning about bullying, integrity, & self discipline and is always balanced out with a bit fun!

YOUTH

Ages 9-13

Thursday 6:30-7:30PM

Eight students is the max for this class. Meeting twice a week allows for reinforcing information they are taking in and for the students to work out techniques learned and come to class with questions.  Things learned in the younger classes are carried through at this age level and more responsibility & accountability is expected.  Bullying seen at this age takes a different level and kids are educated appropriately and given support on this matter!

BOXING

SPARRING

Sparring is optional and equipment for sparring is purchased by the student (or parents of).  We try to run sparring nights every few months.  This gives students a safe environment to work through their techniques.
